Nintendo Direct 3.8.18 Live Blog: SMASH MOFOS

There's a new Nintendo Direct today, and it's starting at 5 PM EST (so, just a few minutes!).

All we know that is for sure going to be in it: Mario Tennis Aces. That's all we know with full certainty.

I'm sure they will mention that the Switch is a year old now. Probably some stuff for the new Kirby game. And after the last couple Directs, we can expect a few surprises.

Nintendo Direct - May 17 2013

Today's Nintendo Direct was focused around games coming out this Spring and Summer.  However, there were a few SEGA related announcements, including a new Nintendo exclusive Sonic game, a new Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, and a boatload of new Game Gear titles coming to the 3DS.

This is followed up by some 3DS news, like the fact that for the first three weeks after release, the two Legend of Zelda Oracle games will be on sale for $4.99 each, so you can get both games for a bit under $10.

Nintendo Direct March 13: Flipnote Studio 3D

Talk about coming out of nowhere!  With a Nintendo Direct Mini, Nintendo finally made the official announcement for Flipnote Studio 3D, and it has brought with it some controversy (honestly can't say I expected that). You can watch the video after the jump.

Pokémon X & Y Coming to 3DS in October

What a thing to wake up to!  I knew Nintendo had a Pokémon related Nintendo Direct today, but they had said it was small.  I did not expect it to be the announcement of the first proper Pokémon game for the Nintendo 3DS.  Pokémon X and Pokémon Y were revealed with some gameplay footage this morning, but we also got a release time.  The game will be out worldwide in October!  That means no waiting months after Japan gets the game, and that is a good thing.  You can watch the full Nintendo Pokémon Direct video after the jump.
