Bottom Shelf Mixology S2 Episode 15: Dark and Stormy

Welcome to the Bottom Shelf Mixology™ video series!  Our staff of Mixologists have decided it would be a good idea to actually test our special "bottom shelf" recipes.  What have we done?

Why I Love Drop Dead Gorgeous & You Should Too

Thanks to the response I got from my write-up on The Stupids, I figured I would write a little bit about another severely underrated movie: Drop Dead Gorgeous.  This 1999 release is a mockumentary that follows a group of high school girls as they prepare for and compete in the local level American Teen Princess beauty pageant.  It features murder, mayhem, and general idiocy.  It also happens to be one of my top five comedies.

Let's take a look at why I love this movie so much.  And yes, there are spoilers ahead.

Christmas Special Mania '12: Scrooged

It's December, and almost Christmas!  Therefore, I've decided to do a follow up to my surprisingly popular Halloween Movie Madness!  Every night  through Christmas Eve, I will be watching a different Christmas movie or special and then rambling on about them, sometimes even being coherent!

Scrooged
(Paramount Pictures, 1988)

Since I ended HMM with Bill Murray, I thought it would be fitting to have a movie starring him kick Christmas Special Mania.
