Halloween Movie Madness '17: The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra

October is finally here!  This year, it brings the long awaited return of Halloween Movie Madness!  I decided I needed to try and make this year special, so most of the movies on this year's list are films that I haven't seen before(and I will probably wish I never sat through half of them).

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra
(2001)

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra was released in 2001, but you wouldn't be able to tell that from watching the movie.  This movie is both a loving homage and parody of the cheaply made horror and sci-fi movies of the '50s.  They really hit the nail on the head here, especially with the dialogue.  It is redundant, obvious, and it feels poorly written.  In fact, they did such a good job with the writing that if you didn't know ahead of time what they were going for, you actually would just think it was poorly written.

Today's movie is The Grapes of Death (or the original French title Les Raisins de la Mort).  This was another used DVD that I found at a store and just bought, because how could I pass it up?

This year, I decided I would start things off with a movie starring two of the greats: Peter Cushing and John Carradine.  All I know about this movie is that it is about underwater Nazi zombies.  Other than that, I'm going in blind, folks!

Peanut Butter & Awesome Fourth Anniversary Special: Jeppson's Malort

It's Peanut Butter & Awesome's 4th Anniversary today!  I can't believe it has been that long already...

To celebrate these last four years, we made a special video.  We got most of the Bottom Shelf Mixology crew, including yours truly, to drink the liquid tire fire known as Jeppson's Malort.

RiffTrax Halloween Marathon Playlist

The weather is colder.  Everything tastes like pumpkin spice.  Leaves that were once green are now brown and starting to scatter themselves on lawns everywhere.  This can mean only one thing: Halloween is near!

For the last few nights, I have been watching terrible Horror movies released by RiffTrax for this year's Halloween Movie Madness.  My brain is feeling a little bit melty now.

I figured, even with this brain mush I've got going on, that I would put them all into a convenient list so you can have your very own RiffTrax Halloween Marathon.  Oh, and I've added in some Shorts for good measure.

Halloween Movie Madness Prep: Evil Dead 2 Gifs

I've been working on the list of movies for this year's Halloween Movie Madness, and it has put me in a real Halloween mood.  Therefore, I have decided to spend some of my morning making gifs from one of my all time favorite movies: Evil Dead 2.  Think of it as preperation for this year's HMM.

I have also decided to provide them all in order, but without any commentary or context.  Mostly because I want to be lazy.
